Hot off the Press🔥

Our very own Head of Delivery – Development Nick Fewkes appeared on Amberjack UK’s Talent Download podcast last week.

Along with host Darren Lancaster they explored why “Next Practice” is the new standard for L&D and how organisations can bridge the gap between AI efficiency and human empathy.

Recruitment that Matters: How Early Talent Teams Can Hire with Precision, Fairness and Confidence in 2026

Recruitment is evolving faster than ever, and organisations who thrive in 2026 won’t be the ones with the flashiest process, but the ones who balance precision, fairness and candidate connection at every stage.

As part of our Insight to Impact series, our team, alongside leaders from Kmart Group and Capgemini, explored what best-practice recruitment looks like today, and what next-practice recruitment will require tomorrow.

Introducing the Future Potential Model 2.0

Our unique Future Potential Model 2.0 provides a framework for accurately identifying and effectively developing high potential talent who will thrive in our changing workplaces.

It shifts the emphasis from identifying people who will work most effectively in a specific role to identifying the people who will remain effective as work evolves, not just now, but long into the future!

Case Study🏆

Each month we shine a spotlight on a recent project and how we helped deliver real results for our clients.

We worked closely with Kmart Group to grow graduate applications and internal participation through targeted store engagement and inclusive, adjustment-led recruitment support.

“Together, we’ve strengthened internal mobility and created more accessible pathways into our Graduate Program resulting in a 58% increase in applications and more than doubling participation from our own team members.”

Amberjack Out & About 🏆

AMP Development
We’ve had a fantastic start to our graduate development partnership with AMP!
For the 2026 cohort, we focused on establishing strong foundations through Setting Expectations, Accountability and Business Etiquette.

We also joined the 2025 Cohort Year 2 to deliver a workshop on Team Dynamics and Stakeholder Management, designed to directly support their Business Challenge.

 Monash University

The Amberjack team recently hosted our second Monash workshop, bringing employer partners and students together for a panel on graduate programs and early career opportunities.

It was a valuable opportunity for students to connect with graduate employers, and for employers to meet emerging talent who are proactively taking steps to develop their careers.

Big thanks to Ben Grimm (RSM), Chris Di Guilmi (NAB), and Hiruni Pathiranage (Coles) for joining us and sharing your insights!
